Are you a singer eager to perform? Do you love “American Idol”? Then, the Santa Cruz branch of the Women's Council of REALTORS® invites you to showcase your talent at their first-ever Santa Cruz Idol* and Elegant Spaghetti Feed.
Get exposure and have fun! We’re out to find the brightest local talent to showcase at our event. Criteria will include personality, appearance, attitude, singing abilities and song choice.
Register now for FREE! The auditions will be limited to the first 100. Ten to 12 finalists will be chosen to compete at the event on September 18th at the Elk’s lodge.
We’re working hard on finalizing the grand prize and it will be revealed at the audition. It’s sure to please aspiring singers!

Audition Requirements:
You will be required to sign a release form at the audition that states the items below. You cannot audition if you do not sign the release form.

You must be 18 or older. Identification will be required at the audition.

Auditions will be a capella, without accompaniment of any kind.

You are advised that the event is entirely done for fun, and that, while many will audition, only 10-12 will be selected to perform at the event on September 18.

Participants are advised that judges are NOT professionals, but are providing entertainment only.

The final decision for the winner is made by the audience at the event.

For the event, contestants are responsible for bringing a CD with their accompaniment only; there can be no voice-over on the CD. Only the voice of the Contestant can be heard.

Contestants are responsible for all costs associated with participation. They are required to pay a $35 entry fee, which includes dinner at the event.

WCR may choose to post audition and contestant videos on the Internet. Each contestant will need to sign a release form at the event to provide WCR with permission to do so.
